MUST WATCH: GLASTONBURY UK HIP HOP PERFORMANCES OF ALL TIME

STORMZY 2019 HEADLINE

Of course we have to start with the iconic 2019 performance from Stormzy. This was Glastonbury’s first British black solo artist to Headline as well as the first proper showcase of UK Hip Hop as a headliner at Glastonbury. This was a big moment for music, art and culture.

DAVE AND ALEX

I am sure we have all watched this but why not re-watch. Dave has had his fair share of iconic performances but nothing compares to when he brought young lad ‘Alex’ up for ‘Thiago Silva’

LITTLE SIMZ 2024

The legend. The Queen herself aced it at Glasto this year, with a huge grateful crowd. Possibly one of the UK’s most significant rappers in lyricism, we can only hope Little Simz has plenty more Glasto sets to come in the future.

GHETTS 2024

This year we were blessed with Ghetts and when performing ‘Mount Rushmore’ he brought out both Kano and Wretch 32.

AJ TRACEY AND AITCH

In 2022 AJ Tracey brought out fellow rapper and friend Aitch to perform their hit song ‘Rain’ which was released in 2020 and became popular in houses through lockdown.
